MPG Rating
I went and tried out a Ford Escape Hybrid 4X4 today, WOW nice ride, but $30,000 is a lot for me right now, and besides I would have to modify the arm rest to use it to deliver mail( I am a Rural Route Mail Carrier in Fairmont, WV. and modify means taking a drimel and cutting the console out, don't think that will happen, not on a $30,000 vehicle.) I am comparing the MPG ratings of cars on the net. I am debating whether or not I need 4WD or if 2WD will do. The Ford Focus Station wagon is another choice I may make and I believe it would save me close to $1800 a year in gas, but I would be giving up 4WD plus height clearance. MMM what should I do? Tune in next time to see if Dave gets a new car, or just bears down on the rising fuel cost and keeps his old Jeep. Till next time God Bless.

You'd think they were smart...
You know, the oil comapnies are only digging themselves into a hole. With the current gas prices, people are going to start buying cars with lower gas mileage. Or even hybrids. Which means then people will be using less gas.Of course, then they'll raise the gas prices even more. But by then the American people might really stand up for themselves. Or at least pressure Washington enough for them to get off their butts and do something.
